Lots of things to do and see including a rare screeening of 
Carry Greenham Home, music and voice workshops, 
performances, poetry and stalls.

All women are welcome to take part in this exciting workshop. It's a creative and fun opportunity to learn some improvisation and playback theatre games and skills as we act out our stories for
each other. A safe environment in which to build your confidence and make friends! 
No experience necessary just be prepared to have a go!.

We'll start with fun and games to get to know each other 
 then move into a playback show.

All women cabaret  @ 8.00pm

We're delighted to be performing @ Machynlleth Women's Week which includes 
lots of indoor and outdoor events for women - massage and stalls @ the Wednesday market, 
readings at Penrallt Bookshop and walking, cycling and running groups.
 


News of QPT founders

Arnet Donkin has a new job as a headteacher in West London. We wish him well and hope he will be able to start up a QPT group in London when he has the time.

Lorna Henry leaves QPT
Lorna Henry, one of our founder members has left QPT to focus on more local activities. We will miss her and her lovely energy - all the best, Lorna, in whatever you choose to do.

Mar, Jane and Mich also performed at Lfest in 'Why did I kiss that girl?' an Edwardian music hall cabaret show devised by Jane and Fran Jackson (left) of the Swan Vestas with songs based on the cross dressing characters from Sarah Water's novel Tipping the Velvet. We were also joined by Mar's amazing magic ball! Wellies not part of the act.

Alive 'n kickin! queer playback show
@ LFest weekend 13 -16 July 2012 

Queer Playback is delighted to be performing again at LFest - it's an exciting lesbian arts and music camping weekend next to the riverside in beautiful Shrewsbury, UK.  We are also running a playback drama workshop so you can practice some of the methods and skills used in playback theatre as well as getting another chance to share your stories.

Queer Playback Performers will  include: Jane Hoy (Wales), Mar Gonga (Spain), Mich Jamieson (Hertfordshire) and Alice Faber (Holland).

 LFest takes place from  Friday 13 to Monday 16 July 2012. There's an amazing line up of artists and performers including Sarah Waters of Tipping the Velvet fame and loads of things to do and see including riverboat trips, a masked ball and an Edwardian music hall cabaret.

Over the rainbow: telling queer stories workshop

Aberystwyth Arts Centre

This workshop is part of the first LGBT Pride festival in Aberystwyth, West Wales. So come along to this lively and creative drama workshop where you can share your stories and learn games and improvisation methods from playback theatre so we can enact them for each other.

All LGBT people and anyone who is questioning their sexuality welcome. 
No previous drama experience necessary. Just come along and join in the fun!

are delighted to be performing as part of World Playback week, so come along  and  see your real-life story played back as magical theatre before your eyes! 
A fabulous, improvised show for lesbian, gay, bisexual 
and transgendered people, families and friends.
